Welcome to Luqman. By registering an account, purchasing a subscription, or allowing your child to access the Luqman platform, you agree to fully comply with these Terms of Service. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, enriching, and secure cognitive environment.

1. Parental Consent Requirement

Luqman is designed for use by children, but the account must be created, authorized, and managed by a verified adult parent or legal guardian. By setting up an account for a minor, you explicitly certify that you are their legal guardian and you consent to our data and privacy practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

The Luqman platform is a walled educational garden. While the AI is trained to naturally guide and filter, parents are ultimately responsible for setting the interaction parameters.

• Users must not attempt to bypass or stress-test the AI's ethical guardrails.
• The account must not be shared outside of your immediate family/household.
• Automated scraping, botting, or using Luqman for external data processing is strictly prohibited.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Luqman is currently free during public launch. We plan to introduce optional paid plans later, and the following terms will apply once paid plans are introduced:

• Auto-Renewal: If you subscribe to a paid plan, it renews automatically at the end of every billing cycle unless canceled.
• Cancellation: You will be able to cancel your subscription at any time through the Parent Dashboard, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refunds: We will publish the full refund policy before any paid plan becomes available.

4. Intellectual Property

The Luqman platform, its proprietary "Productive Struggle" algorithms, branding, original characters, and interface designs are the exclusive intellectual property of Luqman AI. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service for personal, non-commercial family education.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

While Luqman uses advanced AI to synthesize and guide learning, it should not replace human parenting or professional educational instruction. Luqman provides information "as is." We do not guarantee absolute factual perfection in every AI response, though our guardrails are designed to minimize hallucinations and bias.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Luqman AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.
